Coordinator Position

Northwest Suburban Dinner At Your Door is an ecumenical, non-profit community service program, serving Crystal, Golden Valley, New Hope, Eastern Plymouth and Robbinsdale. The program is sponsored by churches and civic organizations as well as Crystal Community Center’s Volunteers of America Senior Dining Program as an expression of their love and concern for people. Our program furnishes hot, nourishing meals at a nominal fee to shut-ins who can’t cook for themselves. Meals are planned by Dieticians according to the individual’s needs and delivered by volunteers from churches and civic organizations. We are a member organization of Metro Meals on Wheels.

Northwest Suburban Dinner At Your Door is seeking a qualified individual for our Coordinator position based out of our Crystal meal distribution site.  Position is Monday to Friday 8am to 1pm.  Salary is $2000 per month.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, minimum
  • Friendly
  • Ability to work independently
  • Organized
  • Attention to detail
  • Has the ability to multi task
  • Computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Has a passion for helping others

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Ordering the correct number of meals daily
  • Planning the delivery routes
  • Packing the food to go out for delivery
  • Making sure there are adequate drivers to deliver the meals
  • Maintaining client information
  • Interacting with our volunteers who deliver the meals
  • Billing clients on a monthly basis
  • Answering phone calls and email
  • Attend monthly board meeting
